Growing up in the small town of Lompoc, California, Kaitlyn was surrounded by rolling hills, open skies, and the beautiful Central Coast beaches. Before attending Cal Poly, she studied Wine and viticulture at a community college and spent several years in the Santa Ynez Valley working at a winery and on an organic farm. Immersed in the rhythms of seasonal living, she naturally developed an interest in the connection between space, lifestyle, and the environment.

Her introduction to interior design came through her dad, who had a passion for renovating older homes into warm, personal spaces. Inspired by his creativity and the insights she gained from peers in the construction and real estate industries, she developed a lasting love for design.

After transferring to Cal Poly to study Communication Studies, her world continued to expand. She fell in love with the diversity of outdoor experiences the Central Coast offers; surf photography, crafting, hiking, and rock climbing all became natural extensions of her lifestyle.

When she's not working, she can most often be found exploring a national park, camping by the ocean, practicing yoga, or enjoying slow mornings at home with her dog and cat.
