Tess is guaranteed to get (and give) plenty of hugs and kisses the moment she walks into the office. You’ll usually find her perched by the steeple windows, keeping an eye on passersby, snoozing under Michele’s desk, or waiting at the door to greet the delivery trucks, who are all well-trained to grab a treat from her cookie jar.

At two years old, Tess was diagnosed with what her vet called “the worst case of hip dysplasia I’ve ever seen.” After a year of surgery and recovery, she now sports two brand-new metal hips and struts around like Superwoman. It’s pure joy to see her acting like a playful puppy again.

When she’s not lounging around the office, Tess is likely off hiking a trail or chasing waves at the beach.
